Santa’s Medical Van is a mobile medical clinic operating in a camper van that travels along the fells and brings medical services near and to you.

We offer scheduled walk-in appointments at set locations; Hotel Inari (Inari), Hotel Kultahippu (Ivalo)
and Wilderness Hotel Kieppi (Saariselkä).
We also make home visits at your own location, whether it is a hotel or any other accommodation where you are staying.
Guests with reduced mobility are warmly welcomed at hotel visits or can book a home visit. Please note that medical van is not suitable for person with mobility limitations.
NOTE! When you are booking a home visit, please use your current location or hotel name.
Get to know the doctor who serves you
The doctor is a general practitioner, Mikko Huokonen. Mikko has 15 years of experience as a doctor in the Inari and Utsjoki municipalities. In addition to appointments, my services include home visits/hotel visits and remote appointments. I treat patients of all ages.
