Appointments at hotels
Santa’s Medical Van offers appointments at reception locations; Hotel Inari (Inari), Hotel Kultahippu (Ivalo) and Wilderness Hotel Kieppi (Saariselkä). A 30-minute appointment can also be used, for example, for a driving licence check at the price of a driving licence check.
Home and hotel visits
Medical Van also makes home visits at your accommodation or hotel by booking. Medical Van can be called outside the route at areas such as Kakslauttanen, Kiilopää, Nellim, Nuorgam, Karigasniemi or Utsjoki.
What I do
Acute illness and first aid
I examine and treat acute sickness, such as infection and joint problems/pain. I provide first aid.
Wounds and procedures
I stitch and glue wounds. I do minor procedures such as joint and soft tissue injections according to treatment recommendations.
Supports and crutches
I have some orthopedic supports. I have crutches with me.
Rapid tests
The most common rapid tests are available, such as urine tests, CRP and Hb.
ECG
I do ECG.
Fit to fly
Fit to fly-check.
Insurance statements
I make statements to the insurance company regarding travel insurance matters.
Medical certificates
I prepare driving licence certificates and other necessary medical certificates, such as statements regarding health or benefits.
Blood tests and lab packages
Through me you can get affordable blood tests and laboratory packages. Blood samples are taken at the Ivalo health centre. Ask for more information.
