Santa’s Medical Van offers appointments at reception locations; Hotel Inari (Inari), Hotel Kultahippu (Ivalo)
and Wilderness Hotel Kieppi (Saariselkä). Medical Van also makes home visits at your accommodation or hotel by
booking. Medical Van can be called outside the route at areas such as Kakslauttanen, Kiilopää, Nellim,
Nuorgam, Karigasniemi or Utsjoki.
✓ I examine and treat acute sickness, such as infection and joint problems/pain. I provide first aid.
✓ I stitch and glue wounds. I do minor procedures such as joint and soft tissue injections according to treatment recommendations.
✓ I have some orthopedic supports. I have crutches with me.
✓ The most common rapid tests are available, such as urine tests, CRP and Hb.
✓ I do ECG.
✓ Fit to fly-check.
✓ I make statements to the insurance company regarding travel insurance matters.
